Amirah Inc is a multi platform production company that produces spiritually enriching, magnetic content and programming that entertains, empowers and inspires. Founded by visionary media mogul Shaunie Henderson, Amirah, Inc. is reshaping the art of storytelling by centering and celebrating women and people of color in every story we discover and create. We amplify underserved communities by showcasing muted voices and overlooked narratives and are vehemently committed to democratizing expression by investing in women-led stories that activate, motivate, and inspire allyship and shared experiences. By changing the narrative of people of color through diverse storytelling, we aim to spotlight female authorship and agency. Our stories are shared and experienced with our community through film, television, audio, our website, newsletter, social and digital channels. Our goal is to expand the sector by equipping aspiring creative’s with the tools to create pathways to diversify the entertainment landscape. Shaunie and her all-star team of deeply seasoned and knowledgeable creative’s will produce inspiring content from today’s most innovative storytellers, while sharing their highly coveted insights on matters such as casting and production while also providing access to real time learning’s. The production company is named after Shaunie’s eldest daughter and was designed to cement a legacy of advocacy, empowerment, and inspiration for meaningful change.
